Coffee Shop Loyalty App Features Latvian Customers Actually Use
A loyalty app should make the next visit easier
The best café loyalty apps are not complicated. They answer simple customer questions: what do I get, how close am I, where is the café, and why should I come back this week?
Digital stamp card
The digital stamp card is still the clearest loyalty mechanic for coffee. Buy a number of drinks, earn one reward. It is easy for customers to understand and easy for staff to explain.
Rewards wallet
Customers should see available rewards without asking at the counter. A wallet can show free coffee, pastry upgrades, birthday rewards, limited offers and expiry dates.
QR or cashier check-in
The check-in flow must be fast enough for a morning queue. A QR scan, cashier code or simple phone-number fallback prevents the loyalty app from slowing service down.
Push offers that respect attention
- Send fewer, better offers.
- Use quiet-day and time-window promotions.
- Segment regulars, lapsed customers and new members differently.
- Never train customers to ignore every notification.
Bilingual content
Latvian should be first for a local café, but English support matters in Riga, tourism-heavy areas and international offices. The app should be designed for both without breaking layouts.
Admin that staff can actually use
If creating a reward requires a developer, the system is too heavy. A café needs a simple admin panel for offers, reward text, images and availability.
